Can the Old Inferno be Converted to an MP-6?

Comments: Do you know if there is a kit to upgrade the Kyosho Inferno to the MP-5 or MP-6, if so do you no where I could get one? Thanks.

Response: There is no such kit available to convert the older Kyosho Inferno into an MP-5 or MP-6. The older Inferno and MP series are completely different cars. The suspension arms, bulkheads, differentials, chassis, center diff assembly, linkages, body, and wing mounts are all different. The only parts that are the same are the universal drive shafts, engine mounts, rims, and internal diff parts. The conversion kit would cost more than a new MP-6.

If you are racing seriously than you may want to upgrade to the MP series of Kyosho cars as they are a superior design but if you are just kicking around and having fun, the older Inferno chassis is still an excellent one.
